I've been chasing ducks since I was just barely eight years old.  Little did I know that the love and passion  I had for the sport would many years later lead to a full time career in the outdoor industry.  I never intended to become a full time call maker; it just sort of happened that way.  Early in my life I spent many hours in my father's wood working shop observing and helping him with various projects.  I can credit most of what I know to his patient and humble teaching of the tricks of the trade.  In my late twenties,  I decided to marry my two passions together ( chasing waterfowl and wood working) and embark on the adventure of running Golden Acres Custom calls full time.  We've been blessed to serve clients from all over the United States, equipping them with high quality calls to tip the scales in their favor from season to season.  I couldn't imagine a better full time job, and I'm excited to keep spinning calls day in and day out for as long as my hands and eye sight allow.
